Preparation And Development Of The Quality Assessment And Assurance Framework For Statistics Of The Statistical Centre Of Iran (SCI)
After the approval of the "National Quality Assurance Framework” by the forty-third session of the United Nations Statistical Commission 2012, SCI has put preparation, formulation and development of the Statistics Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework on its agenda since the mid 2014 in order to expand its activities and measures in the field of quality and more transparency of working processes. This activity started by establishment of the “High Council of Statistics" and its “Executive Committees for Quality” in the SCI in 2016 (19/04/2016). The Statistics Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework of the SCI, including 4 sections, 18 principles, 111 indicators and 716 indices, was approved by the High Council of Quality.
The approved sections and principles are as follows:
